Eco Experience!
 This year instead of one green home we are bringing you the all new Green Street exhibit. Green Street is a neighborhood made up of homes and businesses that showcases hundreds of great green ideas that you can incorporate into your home! Learn everything from certifying your green home to rainwater capture and solar energy production.
Natural Built Home has once again filled the inside of each building with great eco-friendly finishes and ideas that will help to green your home.
Here are just a few of the great ideas on display!
 Counter Tops
We are showcasing some great locally made counter tops this year. Our Element Surfaces counter tops are made with recycled glass and a zero-VOC resin. There is no sealing or maintenance required and they are available in standard or custom colors.
We are also showing natural linoleum counter tops this year. They are our most affordable option and start at $35 per square foot installed! The linseed oil in the linoleum makes them naturally anti-bacterial so you can feel confident your work surface is clean.
Lighting
This is the year of the LED light! All of the fixtures you see in this year's Green Street exhibit contain LED light fixtures. From the street lights on the outside of the buildings to the under-cabinet fixtures, LED's are lighting up this year's exhibit. We even show LED bulbs that would replace a long fluorescent bulb ballast in the bathroom area. LED's use less energy, are mercury free and have a life-span of 50,000 hours!
 Wall Coverings
We have great green options for finishing your walls. In the commercial building of Green Street, we are showcasing the American Clay wall finish in all three finishes, Loma, Porcelina and Marittimo. This wall finish is breathable and toxin free. Plus it is super fun to apply!
All of the painted surfaces this year are Mythic Paint. Mythic paint is not only zero-VOC but it is also non-toxic. Many paints claim to be zero-VOC but they are still filled with toxic ingredients that are not labeled VOC's in the United States. Mythic has removed all VOC's and all toxins so you can feel confident you are painting healthy. Also, we can color-match Mythic paint to almost any vendor's color palette so bring in your favorite color and we will mix up your healthy paint!
Wallpaper is making a comeback! But this isn't your Mother's wallpaper. Our wall papers are made with FSC certified paper so you know it came from a sustainably managed forest. They are printed with zero-VOC inks and they are even packaged in a compost-able corn wrapper. Plus they come in trendy and funky designs. Create your accent wall today!
 Water Saving Fixtures
Once again we are showcasing easy ways for you and your family to conserve water around your home. One of the simplest ways is to install a low-flow sink aerator on your kitchen and bathroom faucets. Check our our low-flow faucets and showerheads in the Green Street exhibit.
We also are showing a new and modern take on the dual-flush toilet. The Kohler Saile dual-flush toilet is Water Sense labeled so you can feel confident you are conserving.  Outdoor furniture
On the front lawn of the Eco Experience we are showcasing beautiful Loll outdoor furniture. Loll furniture is manufactured in Duluth and is made from 100% recycled plastic milk jugs. It comes in super fun colors and modern styles. We are even featuring a dog-bowl inside of the Green Street exhibit made from 48 recycled milk jugs. The best thing is that Natural Built Home will offer the Loll furniture that is on display at the fair at great sale prices after the fair!
